Responsibilities: To support and assist the CEO, Staff and fellow Board members to continue to run East Boro as a caring and successful specialist housing provider.

About Gerald: Lives in Dorchester in Dorset and has lived in or close to the town for much of his life. Married with three grown up daughters.

Career history: Gerald’s career started having trained as a Chartered Surveyor. He then farmed for almost 20 years then qualified as a solicitor at the age of 50 and became a partner with a local firm of solicitors before establishing his own practice. Today he works as a locum solicitor on an occasional basis. 

Hobbies and interests:- Sailing and race official in the Rolex Middle Sea Race. He also enjoys swimming and singing as a member of a local choir. He was a member of West Dorset District Council until 2019 with a keen interest in social housing.
