Tree Planting in Dorchester
We all know how important trees are for our environment and our well being and watching a tree grow from a sapling to a mature tree is really special. So when new tenant James Archer asked us to help him plant a tree at his new home in Sussex Court, we were only too pleased to assist.
Sussex Court is East Boro's new development on the site of the former Grove School in Dorchester. East Boro have converted the buildings into six new homes for people with learning disabilities. There will be three x two-bedroom bungalows and three x one-bedroom houses - the latter in the former 19th Century school building itself. Dorset Council identified suitable local tenants who will benefit from innovative assistive technology within this scheme which was partly funded by the Department of Health, Housing & Technology fund.
So on 19th December 2019, new tenant James Archer had a tour around his new home which he loved then, assisted by his father and Site Manager Dom Cooke of Cooke Construction, he planted a beautiful Acer in his new garden. This will be a lovely addition to his home and East Boro hope James and all of their new tenants at Sussex Court will settle into their new homes in early 2020.
