Underpass Gets A Facelift
After a mammoth effort by all, we have recently completed the mural in Weymouth, having worked with the Mayor of Weymouth, Wey Progress, Novus Solutions, Artist Pete Sheridan, DCC, Dorset Waste Partnership and Dorset Police (sorry if I’ve forgotten anyone) on a project coordinated by Julie Hursthouse, Weymouth and Portland’s Community Development Officer. ​
The plan was to resolve the problem of tagging in Weymouth’s underpasses and brighten up walls prone to vandalism. The talented artists who attend our Arts & Crafts Group at the Waverley helped inspire the final design. See the amazing results for yourself.
