Hair today, gone tomorrow!
ANN Bradley will soon be so short on top you’ll actually be able to see what’s on her mind.
East Boro’s popular Finance, Risk and Compliance Officer, is set to have her barnet butchered in the name of charity.
Ann’s beautiful long locks will be replaced by a shiny dome when she goes under the razor for The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust is a fantastic organisation that provides wigs for children going through chemotherapy and other illnesses involving hair loss.
Ann said: “It’s a wonderful charity and a wonderful cause. These little children are so brave and I’m so pleased I can do this tiny thing to help make their lives better.
“Knowing my hair will go towards producing a wig that will put a smile on a child’s face is a lovely feeling and hopefully I can raise lots of money for the charity in the process.â€
East Boro staff are renowned for their generosity with lots having already pledged cash to the cause.
And you too can show your support for what will be a hair-raising experience for Ann.
“Everyone at East Boro has been so supportive and it is really appreciatedâ€, added Ann. “My Just Giving page is www.justgiving.com/BraddersBarnet and donations of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 and £10 can be made via mobile phones by texting EGHT80 and the amount to 70070.
“Anyone kind enough to donate should also do the necessary so that The Little Princess Trust can claim gift aid.â€
