About Us

Established in Wimborne in 1960, East Boro specialises in housing and support services for the sheltered elderly, adults with learning disabilities and other vulnerable client groups in social housing need. East Boro prides itself on being big enough to cope but small enough to care and as an accredited Supporting People Support Service Provider and Registered Domiciliary Care provider, it seeks to provide tenants with more than just a home. Its customers are its reason for being, and it strives to ensure it involves tenants and customers alike at the centre of everything it does. 

 

It provides and manages 512 homes across Dorset and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspection Report classified East Boro’s Domiciliary Care Service as GOOD in all areas.

 

Having expanded at pace into South and West Dorset in recent years, the company now boasts a regional office in the seaside resort of Weymouth. Located in The Waverley Community Hub, 121 Abbotsbury Road, it houses the Support and Administration staff serving Schemes and Housing in both Weymouth and Dorchester.
