Post 1: 


Cleaner, Caretaker - 17.5 hours per week

£9.38 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity for two cleaner/caretaker to join our team, working to provide cleaning and caretaking services across our housing portfolio in the Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset area.


Your Role

Working under the direction of the Repairs and Estates Manager, you will work unsupervised carrying out cleaning and caretaking duties in the Trust’s supported housing portfolio.  This will involve undertaking general cleaning duties including cleaning communal hallways, bathrooms, kitchens and lounges as well as vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors and emptying bins. This role will require you to move heavy items such as furniture and carpet cleaning machines.

You will be expected to provide a responsive, visible service in a professional, courteous and helpful manner whilst responding to service requests effectively to an agreed standard and to ensure targets are achieved.

The successful candidates will have a sound knowledge of occupational health and safety.  They will be excellent communicators with a background of working in a cleaning/caretaking role and be able to work unsupervised with a flexible attitude to their work.  They will also be a team player with good time management and organisational skills.

This role require regular travel and candidates must be able to travel across Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset.  A full UK driving license and access to your own transport are therefore essential. A DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.

Post 3:


Team Leader - 12 Month Secondment


33.6 hours per week - £10.35 per hour

7 day week service - 4 week rolling rota


We are looking for a Team Leader in our Weymouth Care and Support Department. This will be a temporary role starting February 2022 for a minimum 12 month secondment with the potential to extend to 24 months/permanent position. 


The offer of employment will also be subject to a successful DBS check being undertaken on offer of employment.
